ABOUT EQUINIQUE PHOTO

Equinique Photo was founded by Helen Smith and Steven Oldford in the fall of 2002. It is a logical step for Helen, as she is a lifelong horse-person and avid photographer. She is a Level 2 Equine Canada Western Coach, and has been showing english and western horses since the age of three. Steve Oldford left Equiniqephoto in 2005 to pursue his career in forestry in Ontario.

Helen is currently working for the Department of Environment and Labour in Nova Scotia. Helen spends her “free” time training, coaching and showing in addition to working with Equinique Photo.
